Its top locks down securely deterring squirrel access and when a squirrel steps onto the perch, a metal shield immediately covers the seed tray, shutting off the seed supply. This squirrel-resistant feeder holds up to 12 lb. of mixed seed, sunflower seeds, peanut halves or safflower and requires less frequent filling.
